Equine Vaccination Clinics in Western North Carolina

Friends of NCVMA will host Equine Vaccination Clinics in Mitchell and Ashe counties from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025. These clinics will provide accessible, affordable preventive care for horses in areas without local large animal veterinary service.

Services
Each horse will receive protection against:

• Eastern Equine Encephalomyelitis (EEE)

• Western Equine Encephalomyelitis (WEE)

• Tetanus

• Influenza

• Rabies

• Plus a seasonal dewormer

Owner Registration
Cost: $25 per horse

Clinic Locations

• Mitchell County: Buladean Community Center, Bakersville (confirmed)

• Ashe County: Ashe Agriculture Center, Jefferson (location to be confirmed)
