For veterinary practice owners

Veterinary clinics serve an important function in their communities on a normal day and they served an even more important role during Hurricane Helene when many communities were cut off from services. Many veterinarians and their staffs showed up in incredibly difficult circumstances and gave of their own supplies to help their neighbors. In the spirit of that giving, we want to reimburse clinics for those supplies or other expenses that were not covered by insurance or FEMA grants. Note: NCVMA members should also review the member grants below to determine which one is most appropriate.
Funding is open to veterinary practice owner(s) who work in a county named as a FEMA disaster area and suffered a disruption due to Hurricane Helene or Potential Tropical Cyclone 8. These grants are intended to help the veterinary community recover from the disaster to be able to continue to serve their communities. Grants will be available until dispersed.
