Join us at Highland Brewing for an afternoon of continuing education and conversation in the mountains. This six-hour event includes up to four hours of CE in the brewery’s event space followed by a two-hour rooftop social overlooking Asheville.

A review of Leptospirosis in dogs, covering the causative agent, prevalence, and transmission of the disease. The session explores species and environmental risk factors, clinical signs, diagnostics, treatment, and preventive measures using AAHA guidelines and vaccination recommendations. - The Diabetic Cat Challenge (1 hour)
A practical walkthrough of feline diabetes management, including treatment options, clinical challenges, and algorithm development for evaluating and managing diabetic cats using SGLT2-inhibitor therapy.
Dr. Benjamin Brunson, DVM, MS, DACVIM (SAIM) VetMoves, Asheville - Evaluation and management of upper and lower GI diseases (2 hours)
This talk is a practical tour of upper and lower GI disease from a clinical perspective. It will provide a brief regional refresher of GI anatomy and function, discuss differentials, appropriate use of diagnostics, and evidence-based treatments. We’ll also spotlight new and emerging therapies and how to apply them in everyday clinical workflows.
CE Credit:
Up to 4 hours of approved CE for veterinarians and technicians
Registration Fee:
$10 per person. Includes CE sessions, refreshments, and two drinks at the rooftop social.
